Nova required a solution that could aggregate decentralized assets while maintaining the simplicity of traditional banking. The existing app suffered from 15s+ load times and a fragmented UI that confused new users.
We adopted a performance-first strategy, rebuilding the core API using Rust for speed and React Native for a fluid cross-platform interface. Our focus was on ‘predictive micro-interactions’—anticipating user moves before they happen.
The visual identity uses a ‘Digital Noir’ aesthetic. High contrast, deep shadows, and neon light paths guide the user’s eye towards critical financial data. We implemented a custom-built typography system optimized for rapid scanning of numerical data.
Within 3 months of launch, Nova saw a 120% increase in average asset volume per user and achieved a consistent 4.9-star rating on the App Store. Technical debt was reduced by 60%.
